Pulse Transformer Circuit Diagram

A pulse transformer is a transformer that is optimized for transmitting rectangular electrical pulse from primary to secondary windings. When handling the voltage and current in the pulse form, the transformer is called a pulse transformer. Such a transformer is quite common in the RADAR, TV, digital computer, etc.

Pulse transformer mainly used for multiple coupling from primary to secondary. The circuit diagram of the pulse transformer is very easy to understand.

Pulse transformer works in the principle of Np/Ns=Vp/Vs=Ip/Is. The primary and the secondary coil turn number is the same, and it helps to couple among the voltage. One part of the primary windings are connected with the ground. And the other part is associated with the AC source.

The output of the transformers is connected with the load. A circuit diagram of the pulse transformer is given below:

Pulse transformer works in the high frequency of the current. Nowadays, it is widely used for measuring, sustaining electricity protection, and coupling voltage among the winning.
