Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB) was signed with Summit Power International (SPI) company. for the consequences of the contract., SPI company set up an electric power generation plant in Narayanganj. The power plant’s name is Rupganj Power Plant. The plant generates electricity and supplies it to Narayanganj Palli Bidyut Samity with an agreement of 15 years.

Raw Materials Of Rupganj Power Plant
The raw materials of the Rupganj Power Plant are Natural Gas. The gas burned in the boiler to producing steam with water. The steam is compressed with heavy pressure and rotates the turbine. The turbine generates electricity.
Rupganj Power Plant generates electricity and sells it to the Narayanganj Palli Bidyut Samity. Rural Electrification Board (REB) has 80 subdials. Narayanganj Palli Bidyut Samity is one of it. The Samity supplies electricity among the people of Narayanganj. Bangladesh now lacks electricity.
