Construction of Step Down Transformer

They pass electricity through the medium of IMF (electromagnetic force). The transformer works in the principle of Np/Ns=Vp/Vs=Is/Ip. In a step-down transformer, the secondary windings are always less than the primary windings. The functional equation is Ns<Np.
